There are two geocity sites that haven't been updated since 1999: Riven Illuminated, and Riven Nitpicking. I have some overlooked Riven nits, but since I can't post there, here they are.

1. Superdome elevator nits:

When raised from underneath, you can see as if the 1st lift has wooden planks and a large gap between it and the upper catwalk, but on top, it is solid. Then again, if you look at it from other scenes on the bridge, you may notice that the top lift isn't completely up and somehow sank a little down the vertical track. Also, there's an anomaly about said lift. The rails around it are in different positions when either up or down, and when you're away from it, it seems to be up when down and the other way around.

PS: A guy named "Rusty" has a save-game file where the elevator didn't exist and was replaced by a rung ladder and so the stairs were misaligned due to a shorter underground hallway to the right of it. (you can still see it like that from looking down on the top bridge.) In the file you can open and shut a door with a piece of ladder on it, or enter the shaft and stand on the drain grate. Unfortunately, the game crashes at that point. See for yourself on Myst/Riven Illustrated!

2. Book Assembly Island dome nits:

What is the color for B.A. Island's dome? Let's find out. If you open the metal door at the bottom of the underground stairwell, look at the surface of its spinning position: Its color "eye" says "yellow". Now, turn around, shut the door and click on the slit to the right of it to enter an inner cave. Walk forward twice, click on the viewer, and watch the "Blink pattern". The symbol says "purple". Finally, enter the dome and Link to Gehn's Age. If the books there are on, open the Book Assembly Island book. (the one with 4 squares in a bigger square pattern) If you watch the spinning dome there through the panel, you will notice that its color symbol was stolen from Temple Island and so says green! So which one is it? According to the "waffle-iron" puzzle, it will say that purple is the correct one. Guess the makers of Riven forgot about which texture to use for that dome.
