That death embroiled the Pento in a civil war between the leader's two sons, Mekarr and Timaue. King Ahlesander came back through the Arch and defeated the Judges, allied with Mekarr and deafeated Timaue. Eventually Mekarr came back and killed Ahlesander's wife and sons. Ahlesander then released a plague on Pento which killed the population in 3 days, but before some escaped and infected other cultures. During a visit the King and his wife were ambushed and the King's wife was taken by the native group and demanded worlds to rule as the D'ni ruled them. Though the Ages the natives wanted weren't able to be written. Ishek thought that it was probably a D'ni sect that was responsible like what happened on Pento. Soon the Reylimah found the group (Blood of Yahvo and/or Light of D'ni) that was responsible. This group wanted the D'ni to have no contact with outsiders and were to kill Ishek's wife whether the demands were met or not to show that outsider's couldn't be trusted.
