Now that Live is back, well......I litterally just joined Until Uru. And it never worked for me because those purple loading bars always get stuck at one point, so I could never play it. What should I do with it now?

It's not back quite yet - wait until December when they release it. In the mean time, I suggest you get help about the purple bars

Where exactly do the purple bars get stuck?

Oh, you are all too kind. Sometimes they get stuck when all the words near them are gone, and sometimes this pops up before then:

What size are your RAM and virtual memory?

Additionally, please go to Start->Run, type "dxdiag" (without the quotes), and click on the Display tab in the window that appears when you click "run". Look at the name of your video card and how much RAM it has, and post that information here.
If your video card name starts with "Intel" you may be SOL (as in, Scoobysnacks Outta Luck) when it comes to trying to connect to Until Uru, as UU doesn't support integrated Intel video chipsets (Complete Chronicles does, but UU back-patches the engine to the engine as of February 2004, thus removing the compatibility added when PotS and the CC collection came out in July of 2004). You may not be out of luck for joining Live, and if you're up for it, I'd suggest signing up for the beta test at urulive.com and seeing if the game will run for you if/when you get in (which won't be for another month or more anyway).

If you guys mean where it says "chip type", then it says "Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller".
Uh oh. What should I do now?

Well, one option would be to hope that Uru Live supports your chipset, which is unlikely, since even Path of the Shell only officially supports the Intel Extreme graphics chipset... the Intel graphics controller chipsets are even less likely to run the game, because they're even less powerful, and support an even smaller subset of the DirectX requirements.
The other would be upgrade your graphics card, because you're likely going to have similar problems with any new games moving forward, as few support anything not manufactured by nVidia or ATI.

I don't think that's gehn's problem. He was on D'mala last night with a new avvie.
