OK good people lets see a show of hands of those who have an "I voted" badge pinned to their lapel.
Against my better judgment I am carrying one.

It said I had to be registered or somethiing. It's too late now. I didn't know most of the winners, anyway.

I briefly looked over a few of the candidates. However, since I am fairly new to the Cavern, and don't really know much about what has gone on with the DRC and such, I didn't know what to do. I had no clue how voting for various people might affect my trips to the Cavern. I figured that I'd sit out this election, which goes completely against my views of politics up on the surface (active civic participation is a good thing).

That's okay...it was only to come up with a handful of liaisons, at the request of the DRC, to relay information back and forth between the DRC and the community of adventurers. If I'm not mistaken, these will be "term" positions, so there may be another vote later on. Main thing, go to the cavern when you can, and enjoy yourself!

There will be another vote in October, as liaisons are on 6-month terms as per the election proposal used for the current term. If you haven't registered, you may register now to participate in the October election. To register, fill in a desired username and password in the login box. The system will detect that you don't exist and ask you to register with the information you provided.
