Are you sure Something Else is Myst 5? It sounds SE is bent towards Uru, while Myst 5 is bent towards the Story of Atrus.

Also, is it too soon to create an abbreviation for Myst 5? How about M5EA? Too long?

SE is the only project far enough along in Cyan's pipeline (and perhaps the only one at all) to be releasable by this fall.

Also, as a matter of course, information about the game is not to be added to the Archive until after its release, so it is just a tad early to be making acronyms for that purpose, yes smile.gif.

Ah, but we also archived M4R articles (such as the Serenian Flute) before its release, didn't we?

Those were specifically sent to me by UbiSoft for publishing as part of the pre-release press (Mary DeMarle actually provided the photographs and the base descriptions for me). They weren't speculations based on incomplete information. There was no information regarding To D'ni or Path of the Shell in the Archive prior to those releases, and what we had of Uru before release was only what had been solidly confirmed because of the DRC website. Since Uru's release it's been policy not to post information from games that haven't been released yet because it just means having to do MORE editing later on, and I would rather have complete and accurate articles the first time than have a pile of old and out-of-date, incorrect articles that hang out in the Archive un-noticed for months until someone happens to say "hey, that's not right" or we pick it up on a sweep of the Archive, which is practically a continual process anymore, but we try to do a full sweep at least once a year.
