I'm not sure if this be DaPlace this thread would go . . .
but it does have to do with Myst IV Revelation.
DaDungeon has been journaling its experiences . . .
game session by game session.
And now there are two volumes of that journaling online. They are not walkthroughs, but be aware there be "spoiler"-age there.
The first volume, Myst IV Installation Journal . . .
covers my agonizing journey through InstallTheGameLand.
It documents how I overcame the "update your drivers" blues . . .
and dealt with the ATI Radeon 7500 All-in-Wonder video card issues encountered.
The second volume, Tomahna Journal . . .
covers the thoughts, laterals, speculations, problem solvings . . .
warts and all . . .
as I went through the initial explorations . . .
which turned up necessary . . .
in Tomahna.
The third volume, the Spires Journal . . .
is just now being transcribed and constructed.
But its entries will indeed appear . . .
slowly . . .
one by one . . .
as each is melded word to image.
I haven't been a major presence here on this forum . . .
baaaad Mental Mob . . .
as heath and time issues allow only a few MREDU sites to be regularly frequented.
But I would dearly love to get you guys' thoughts about . . .
the style of my journals.
There don't seem to be a lot of journals yet for Revelation,
and I thought I'd try to start that ball rolling a bit faster . . .
by spreading the word about mine.
