Welcome to the Building the Fiction section of DPWR's Writer's Ring forums!
The purpose of this section is to provide a general forum for the discussion of Story™ and how it relates to Uru and Myst Online in its various incarnations. This is a place to discuss what the vague term 'story' means in the context of Uru and to talk about the fiction that is the D'niverse.
This is also the place to talk about all of the skills and techniques that are involved in running story in Uru. This includes designing plots, scenarios and characters, and discussion about what makes a good story, character or event.
