Has anyone ever thought about this: maybe, the Miller brothers' have a copy of the rehevkor. They do know a lot about the Myst universe - they made it, didn't they? They should have all of the answers... it'd be nice to have a copy of the rehevkor, no?

It wouldn't hurt to ask them, would it?

EDIT: Well, from what BrettM said in another of my posts, it seems the Millers, RAWA, the DRC and the rest of Cyan Worlds probably won't answer our questions - and if they do, it won't be what we'd be expecting. It seems that they want us to find things out on our own.... but if we had a rehevkor, translations - and possibly Age creation itself - would go a heck of a lot quicker!

I had a dream once that I bought a copy of the Rehevkor at a garage sale once. In the dream, I forgot about it until it turned up a couple weeks later in my sock drawer. I remember wondering why the word "Rehevkor" was printed in English on the cover (and not in d'ni), and then I woke up.

Presumably, RAWA's got some master d'ni dictionary that he refers to. Whether that also contains a guide to writing Gahrohevtee, I don't know (though I'd love to find out).

You know, I had a dream sort of like that not too long ago - except it wasn't a garage sale, I had visited D'ni and found one.

Too bad RAWA couldn't make a few copies of his d'ni dictionary...

Well, he did, kind of. The European collectors edition of Myst V contains a fat little booklet, part of which is a D'ni Dictionary. However, it is far from complete, as it is missing many words that have been discovered over the years, leaving us still unable to translate a lot of older material. It did give us a few new words, though, and clarified the interpretations and usages of some others, so I guess we have to be grateful for that.
