Is it me, or is Riven dangerous to your health? I mean, the guy who is supposedly the "god" is slightly unhinged (i.e. a total and complete nutjob). I'm not here to debate the problem Atrus has with his family; I'm here to ask a simple question.

It has recently come to my notice that the only ending to Riven on this site is the "good one". Now I understand that it's not exactly fun to get yourself killed in the game, especially in a few of the endings *cough*PrisonBookrefusal*cough*. But I'd like to see the scripts to all the ending that you can find uploaded on here. Personally, I want to see if Atrus has any witty banter before he kicks the proverbial bucket @ the Star Fissure. ^_^* But that's just me talking...

Hmm... I know how this can be done later on without causing some degree of confusion over what's what, but for the immediate future I don't have access to the software I need to make that happen.

I will look into ways to resolve this so that we can have all of the speech transcripts here without possibly confusing anyone over which is the "correct" ending. Thank you for bringing it up smile.gif.

No problem, Alahmnat (or Al or whatever you go by). I think I found a script for the endings on Google; just let me go check it... *wanders off*

*back* Yeah, somebody posted up most or all of the endings on a web-site. Just type in "Riven endings" in Google, and it'll be the link at the top of the findings. biggrin.gif

In Riven and Myst there is only ONE way to COMPLETE the game.
Notice the difference between end and complete.

Trexon, please stop posting in topics that have not been active for more than a month. This thread is from 2004. If you feel you have something meaningful to add to an old discussion, please start a new topic and link to the old one. The person who originally posted this thread hasn't even been to this site for over two years.
