Steve Ogden has a site called AnimWatch which showcases the best in indepemdent animation. All of the projects featured on the site are wonderful examples of what talented folks can do. My favorite is Rust Boy.
In the last few days Steve has announced that a group of these short films (incuding a new Trailer/Showreel from Rust Boy) will be available on DVD for about $20. That's less than what you would have spent for two months of Uru:Live! I've indicated my interest in the DVD by responding via email as requested on Steve's site. Why don't you do the same?

And then there is Cane Toad. You need to register to see it but its definitely worth it. NOTE: The language is typically 'strine (Australian) and is "off-color" so if your easily offended it might not be to your taste. I laughed my g.., uhm, insides, yes insides out!
