I saw a picture showing Channelwood at night (realMyst pic) but I have been there for a long time and did not notice any change in day/weather, also why is that?

*Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I don't see it as speculation.* mib.gif

I think that you will find that the time of day on RealMyst is determined by the real time of day, hence REAL. If you want to see a different time of day on there, then you either need to play at a different time, or set your computer's clock to the time you wish to see in that age. I hope that this helps you.

Channelwood does not have a night cycle - it stays daylight all the time. This was done because of the hardware limitations at the time - Channelwood with a weather cycle would have taxed all but the newest of systems at the time realMyst was released.

The picture of Channelwood at night was done to give fans a glimpse as to what that might have looked like.

I apologise for my mistake, I do not own RealMyst and was therefore only going on what information I had read elsewhere about the topic.

Sorry

If you can get your hands on it, you should try it...it's really a nice version of Myst.
