Little is known about the D'ni who Wrote these Ages, and they were lost early in D'ni history. When plague ravaged D'ni in the years before 2262 DE, a search was made for Guild of Healer Ages under the orders of King Hemelin. A woman named Lalen found the Lost Ages, and it was soon discovered that plants on these Ages could end the plague. Around 2262 DE, the plague was ended.
A festival was held in D'ni from that year forward on the anniversary of the re-discovery of these Books on Leevobro 12 (roughly December 13th).
