About the Company

Cyan Worlds is the birthplace of the Myst franchise. Founded in 1987 by brothers Rand and Robyn Miller, the company was known simply as "Cyan, Inc." until 1997, when it was re-branded to better reflect their focus on the game which would eventually become Uru: ongoing creation of Ages (or worlds) with a regular release schedule.
