Mysterium and Surveys
Pictures of last month’s Portland visit still forthcoming, I swear! To be honest, though, a Mysterium report just has never come to me, mostly because I don’t feel like there was much report-worthy this year… most of it was spent talking to people in small groups and hanging out with people (including the Rev Devs, who are really awesome folks and deserve every bit of praise given to them for their game). I missed laser tag and didn’t go to EDGE (though I got an EDGE disc) for a few reasons, not the least of which being that Brian and I stayed up until 5:00 AM or so talking to Mihshehl and R-chan. All in all, though, I did have a great time, and got to spend a very large amount of time, relatively, with the official-types. Dunno, such a thing just seems odd to me, especially when they actually know who I am… it’s just… weird. I know it isn’t and it shouldn’t be, but it is.
Anyway, I’ve got so much stuff to do right now between school, work, looking for more work, and free time projects… I have a painting that’s still not done which is already over 2 years past due and I don’t even know where the person who asked for it *is* anymore. If anybody knows where to contact Morning Rose, please let me know, or have her contact me through the normal channels… I want to get this painting to her. I’ve also got another painting in mind, though I dunno if that one’ll get shared around based on some of the reactions from my last painting. Plus I’ve got more stuff to tweak on DPWR and a portfolio site to build, ’cause I’ve had Ron bugging me about that lately. And Writing Project is always somewhere in the background demanding to be let out.
